Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hey folks, I just had my first repair on my Genesis (47.5K miles). It started with my auto-hold brake warning indicator coming on and my auto-hold not working. This went on and off for a few days, followed by the EPB (electronic parking brake) warning indicator coming on and not being able to turn off the EPB. This was cured with my next cold start, and luckily I was only a few feet from my home when this happened.

I took it to the dealer and they replaced the EPB module, indicating that it had a couple of fault codes and that it had overheated.

My question is, where is this module that it could overheat? What might cause it to happen out of the blue?
