  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Silver, with m-plates. Big, nice car, a bit heavy on the chrome. But quite impressive. The wings ornament on the hood is a bit much I think.

Re: Hood ornament goes too far re: Equus in Brighton , MI last night

Yes, that hood ornament is really over the top.

I don't know why Hyundai has such a badging problem.

The "standard" badging on today's Genesis hood, wheel covers, trunk and steering wheel is so unimpressive that more than half of the cars sold from my local dealership get re-badged with the Genesis Wing Logo.

Similarly, if they don't change that ostentatious hood ornament on the Equus before it goes on sale in the US, people will be replacing it even before they drive off the lot.

Equus is a great car - but its not a Rolls Royce, and shouldn't be wearing that logo. Heck, I wouldn't want to drive an Equus that was based on the Rolls - too snobbish, ostentatious, etc.

That's my opinion, and worth every cent you paid to read it.
