  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This afternoon I was stopped for a traffic light at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Red Lion Road in Northeast Philadelphia when I spotted a silver Equus in the next lane.

There were 100 of these that were touring the nation at various dealer locals. I visited the Equus at my local dealer months ago.

Does anyone know if these cars are being test driven by prospective buyers across the country?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The car you saw may be the one normally kept at district HQ in Monroe Township, NJ. Did it have California plates?

As far as is known there are no official demo rides/tests.

Yesterday I saw one pulling into an Arco (yuck) gas station in SoCal, at the corner of Talbert and Magnolia. I was on my way to a local hospital to visit a friend after his surgery (he's doing fine) when I recognized it in oncoming traffic lanes. I looped around for a closer look and then later waved when he passed me as I pulled into the hospital.

The driver wasn't dressed like a corporate exec - that's for sure! Unless maybe SoCal Hyundai execs have the same laid-back casual dress code as Apple execs? This gas station is quite close to Hyundai's US headquarters by the way.

It didn't have a front license plate and once we started moving I didn't get to see the rear. It was silver, the same color as the car taht made the rounds through local dealers earlier this year.

While those of us with Genesis sedans may takle note of this car, there's no way I see the general publicwarming up at the sight of one of these on the road. People constantly surround my car and tell me how gorgeous it is -- and often questioning if it's a Bentley. The Equus does not have the sleek beautiful lines of our cars. Looks like a fat bloated Town Car competititor in my humble opinion.

It was not in the district parking lot today but that's not unusual on the week-end. Many times its parked over-night in the parking lot. This leads me to believe it is not driven every day.

This particular Equus has California plates.
