What is the procedure to replace a Hyundai trunk
emblem with a Equus trunk
emblem?
Congrats on your Equus!!

And this what someone posted earlier:
I removed the old flying-H
badge by softening first with a hair dryer and then slowing pulling until it popped off. Then I used 3M
Emblem Adhesive Remover and Goo Gone. No scratches whatsoever. The new Winged
badge was easy to fit - it has a stud in the back that matches up to the hole in the trunk deck lid. You just peel off the backing, match up the stud with the hold, press hard for a minute or so, and Bob's your Uncle. The Winged
badge is precisely made with curvature to fit the curve of the deck lid exactly. The VL 500
badge was a bit more dicey to fit. There is no
emblem at all on the right side as delivered, so there is nothing to remove first. I careful measured the position of the EQUUS
badge on the left and then put on 3M blue painter's tape to mark the right and bottom edges. You then peel off the back paper to expose the adhesive to mount in place. Hold it firmly for a minute or so. Then, peel off the front paper on the
emblem, and the 3M blue tape, and your new VL 500
badge is magically in place (and in my opinion, looks terrific). However, this does confuse the boys down at the Hyundai service department. When asked, I tell them that I bought the car in Korea and had it shipped over. Well ... actually, I did, sort of. It was made in Korea and shipped here ... and then I bought it.
