.. Or so was said according to a number of daily newspapers in Korea.

I am a little cautious here because those newspapers said Hyundai announced it, but I couldn't find a Hyundai press release yet. Nevertheless, the press who reported the news are all major papers - they'd better be right.

The article added that Equus's name hasn't been decided yet.

The picture shows the stretched version (Equus Limousine) with the exclusive LED headlights. I wish the LED headlights will become available to standard wheelbase models as well as US export models.

Curious. If you go to Hyundaiusa.com and search "Equus" a press release will come up that say a new luxury car BASED on the Equus will be introduced in the United States. Are they say we will NOT be getting the Equus exactly but a car based on that or are we getting the Equus that everyone has been driving but with design and suspension tweaks fot the North American market?

A US model will not be exactly the same due to several factors, but it will have the air suspension. See list of features here:
