  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ok.

Im really interested in purchasing these tips from http://www.koreanautoimports.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=31_237_319&products_id=2841!

And Im also interested to see if anyone else is interested in them as well. Maybe a possible group buy if the price is right.

I dont think I want mine sticking out that far from the bumper but I'm pretty sure that I can get the flush look out of them. I'm headed home to check the measurements first though.

Let me know your thoughts.

Oh, by the way, this is NOT a committment to buy the tips. I just want to know if we have enough interest and if we do, I will get a price and then I will open it up for the committments then.

I would be interested, but no where near the $279.00. These are just tips, no performance enhancements. They are worth about $80 tops, go to a local exhaust shop and have them make you a set.

IMO it makes the rear of the car look too congested and busy.

I'm not really into the tips that you mentioned, but I LOVE THE ONES THAT ARE IN THIS SWEET VIDEO from Youtube......

I dont really think they look that good on the genesis, if they looked more like the ones in the genesis video I would consider them. I really like the OEM tips alot. And at that price they arent appealing at all.

SWEET!!!:D

Now tell me, any welding or cutting needed?

I (personally) wanted mine to be flush with the rear valance. Is that possible or will I need to cut somewhere? I know the tips are 250mm deep but can you push it back to where the tips are flush without any modification?

Thanks so much for the PICS and the post!!!

I am EAGERLY awaiting your reply!:p

the stock tip has to be cut off & i had mine spot welded on instead of using those screws that came with it. Now if u want it flushed with the rear body your going to have to cut some of the pipe off of the new tips to bring it further in, i thought about doing that but i like em the way they are now, the only other thing for me now is to replace the brown leather pieces across my dash and on my doors with real mahgony wood replacement parts for the genesis to match the top of my steering wheel & replace my HID headlights then im finished until i can hit lotto & get the rims that i reallty want :-)
