  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2019 G90 3.3t is about to come out of warranty. I have seen many horror stories about the expense and frequency of repairs to the electronic systems (displays, radar, camera systems etc.) Has anyone out there have any experience with this type of warranty?

If that is a real concern for you, I'd trade in the vehicle for a newer on that has a decent warranty.

Unless you feel compelled to spend big bucks for a new car, just buy the Genesis extended warranty.

My experience is to trade in once the 5/60 warranty is gone.

Warranty is a crap shoot. Some people benefit, others just spend the money for no return other that some security. If you get one, read it over for exclusions.

I would suggest only getting the Genesis extended warranty NOT any third party one. Yes it’s more expensive but It’s still cheaper than a new car.
