  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Everyone!

I'm brand new to the forum and a new owner of a 2013 R-Spec in Canada.
This forum has been instrumental in my decision of getting the car, so thank you!

The car is in pretty good condition (only 65K km), but need to purchase a few spare parts and having trouble finding the part numbers.

Would anybody have the links to a factory service manual?
I've searched quite a bit, but all the links are expired or require permission to join.

Thanks!

Hi yul_rspec.....I also have a 2013 R-Spec with about 74,000 miles on it, I'm the original owner. You have a low mileage R-Spec for a 2013, well done! I've been doing all my own maintenance on my R-Spec and buy most of my parts online from online Hyundai dealers. You can go through their drop down menus and it will show you all the parts and part numbers. There are no Chilton manuals for our R-Specs and the factory service manuals will cost 100's of dollars, not worth it. Best of luck!

Depends.

How much work does one plan on doing? For some people, $300, $400, $500 worth of manuals can easily be made back in a repair or two.

16UltV6Guy I agree! I have bought FSM for past vehicles over the years, mostly Helms. They sometimes can save you money or get you in deeper if you don't have the proper tools and/or specialized equipment. Remember the FSMs are written usually for ASE certified mechanics, not "Shady Tree Mechanics" like me. They can be quite complicated when working on todays complicated cars. Heck sometimes I just get confused understanding the page numbering systems of FSM. I prefer Chilton manuals when available, which are written for "Shady Tree Mechanics".

Yes I saw this one, but the links are all Google drive which require permission now. I requested access a few days ago but most likely no one is following those anymore.

I wouldn't mind paying if it's a good manual (not 100s of $ though...). In my previous experience these could be very helpful.

Works for me. It's set to "anyone with the link can view/download" Unfortunately the 93MB is too big to send via forum PMs.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
That's so strange! Unless you've accessed them previously?
I know google has done some changes with their gdrive/gsuite permissions recently.

This is exactly what I'm looking for though.
Any chance you could upload them with wetransfer and send the link?

I would just need 2013 and 2012 - 5.0 GDI manual, but if you can find a way to download the whole folder we can try hosting it somewhere else so more people have access.

Thanks for your help btw!
