  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Recently had dealer replace the aux input, feedback and distortion has diminished, but still audible, particularly when listening to comedy or instrumentals (Pandora, Google Music). I travel a lot, and rent a lot of cars all over the states, I do NOT have this issue with any of them. GM, Ford, Chrysler, other foreign cars and etc.... My wife's Santa Fe and Boxster have A2DP (why the hell doesn't the Genesis) but when streaming in them there is no distortion or feedback - at all.

Anyone have any issues like this?

Thanx

Mike

Sorry, 2011 4.6 tech package.

I get high-pitched background noise consistent with a grounding issue when using my iPod with the OEM iPod cable. Like you, I have a 2011 4.6 with the tech package. I haven't brought it to the dealer's attention because I'm certain that, like other perception issues with this vehicle, they will tell me they can't reproduce the problem. So I just live with it.
