  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Rough experience with this dealership.

Arranged to look at an exact color/optioned car but upon arrival the car was "no longer available." Luckily, plenty of similarly appointed 2015 Genesis on the lot, but the experience was miserable. Sales staff couldn't locate cars, couldn't find key fobs, and once I decided on a car they brought the wrong paperwork in (a la 2017 Santa Fe) several times. Had to keep a watchful eye to ensure everything was done correctly.

Not to mention trying to get anyone to respond with a coherent email is next to impossible and you'll be sorely disappointed if you expect to receive a response within 72-96 hours.

That being said, this forum helped ensure I was able to clearly articulate what I wanted and the pitfalls I should watch out for. Walked out with a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L V6 AWD Ultimate (new car) for $36,002, so the deal was more than fair. Simply wish this dealership had its act together. So much potential....

Congrats on the new ride and :welcome: to the forum. Some dealers are not up to par as others. We have a great one here in Stuart Florida. Wallace Hyundai of Stuart. Sales and Service is top shelf.

1. Welcome!
2. Congrats!
3. Awesome deal!

I've been monitoring 2015 stock. Did you buy the Sant Silver or the Cas White?

After having fallen for this myself a few times, I have come to realize that this a standard scam pulled by many car salesman everywhere. They tell you that they have the exact model/color/options you are looking for in stock, so that you will come to the dealer and they get a chance to sell you something else. Also known as bait and switch.

Best bet is to look at their website, which usually has all their inventory listed.

Do you mind sharing the total in fees they charged? (I.e. what the out the door price was)

I'm very tempted to go in and get a Genesis on Monday. It's a 3 hour drive, so I want to know the exact figures, so I can make a final decision.
