  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So... should be getting my settlement amount on my total-loss Hyundai today or tomorrow and have my eyes on a 2015 Genesis black/black AWD with only 22k on it and the Signature/Technology packages. Just can't go with an Ultimate and not have Android Auto... UGH! Anyhow I had a few questions on the 15's as I seem to see a ton of threads on the topic but am overwhelmed with the answers...

DRL's. The white LED strips in the housing - when are they on and when are they off? I seem to see photos/video reviews that all show different stuff going on. Is that amber bulb in the center-most portion of the housing always on when DRL's are on? Can that be changed so only the LED strip is on?

For 15's that do NOT have fog lights, how easy is it to install them? If I just wanted them to be on with my DRL's is that achievable? I live in the country and my Sonata that was totaled had DRL's down at the bottom of my front bumper and they made a surprising difference in low-light conditions out on the sticks.

Lastly (and most importantly) if all I want on when headlights are not on (if in AUTO) are the fog lights below and the white LED strip up top, how is that achieved?

Few other questions on the V6 AWD model:

Any way to increase fuel economy other than hitting the eco button every time I start the car up? Is a CAI of any help?

Any tasteful ways to make the rear of the car a bit more "exciting" ?

Any front lips out there for that front bumper to add a little flair to it similar to the newer front ends on the 18-19's?

Thanks in advance - very excited to hopefully have keys by this weekend.
