Getting familiar with the group...
It took a week of trial & error to find rims to fit the front of the V8, with the gigantic callipers & all! Rims that the mfgr said would fit... didn't! My favorite that failed to fit were the "FOOSE" LEGEND. When they were delivered, the chrome was soooooo deep and a very 'creamy' look. Didn't fit. Ended up with the TSW 'CADWELL' with about a quarter of an inch clearence.
Check out the photo album under my name. Re-badged, no name on back and the Liquid Glass treatment was really worth it. I was sold on the Genesis back in December '09 and have been reading up thru you people. T 3 test drives cinched the deal in my head, but my lease on the 2007 Mercedes E550 wasn't up until April 15th. Couldn't wait. Turned the car in early (to me at that time it wasn't anything more that a tank with a rocket engine in it.) Technology is so outdated on that year that I even had to install my own blue tooth cradle ($450)... only good on that car. Checked out the NEW 2010 E CLASS Benz.... way too pricy, so for HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of dollars less I got my Genny. No regrets. Love the forum and all the different points of view.... except when the name calling starts. (Special thanks to the moderators). Look at me... I can still ramble even when I'm on a keyboard.
