Congrats. I can't even count how many owners of the Genesis in this site. Maybe ninth or tenth? Looks great. Can we see some interior shots, oh, and I agree, that's a beautiful house if it is your house.

Thanks guys . Just having a blast playing with the toys. More pics to follow, after we get organized. Currently evaluating doing a 35% tint, adding KDM wings to rear only and perhaps the wings wheel caps. I'll be sure to post issues/quirks as they pop up. And no, that's not my house, but it is where I live. It's the front driveway at our condo.

1st Issue: Black floor mats and the white Florida sand. Ugh

1st Quirk: Have a garage door opener with a rolling code. When I brought the car home, couldn't open the garage door. Was like the battery just died in the remote. Went down tonight to program the HomeLink and it took forever. Turns out when the car is running, it blocks my remote. Turned the car off, turned on accessory mode and had it all done in 3 minutes. Go figure!

Standard warranty is bumper to bumper 5 years 60.000 miles. 10 years, 100.000 miles is for engine warranty. Extended warranty price is highly negotiable as well.

4 hours last night, 4 more tonight, and on... I have a Motorola Razor, and actually paired it from on screen instructions without the manual. Took about a minute. Absolutely works perfectly. Sounds like you're on a land line at both ends of the conversation. Caller ID says "Incoming Call" on line one, and the 10 digit phone number in line two. Haven't tested it yet, but I think once the car's phone book is loaded, the system does a lookup and replaces "Incoming Call" with whatever name matches the incoming number in the phone book. Only downside have I found so far is you cannot access the cell phones contacts list. You have to load the car's phone book manually, although it is pretty quick once you get comfortable with the controller.

I'd really like to get more feedback on your experience with the Tech Package BT system. I can't find any details on it, such as features and differences compared to the standard BT system. I know the tech package system is built into the Nav, and mutes the radio (correct) when a call comes in, per the Hyundai site, but there are no specs as to how to use it, or what additional features it has. If you can share more insights as you load contacts, and maybe even some pics of the screens, that would be AWESOME. I'm trying to decide between tech and non-tech, and BT is probably one of the bigger feature factors between those two versions for me.

Yes, it does mute the radio, or whatever is playing. A lot of detail so probably better to send you the manual. The Driver Information System manual is 13+ MB and the section onthe phone is about 4.5MB. Your choice, PM me the email address you want it sent to.
