Does Genesis send firmware updates to owners? If so, is there a site where the owner can request to be emailed when an update is available?

Some updates come along with the navigation. Twice a year updates

I asked that same question today to Genesis CS, but about the map updates, and guy told me there should be a message to that regard when you log in to the 'MyGenesis' site. There might be an option to receive an email, but I've never received anything from a Hyundai vehicle (including Genesis). The guy said there should be a message notification at the top right corner of the site when there's a new update available. We'll see. I typically only look for updates when I read on the forums that there's one already available. He said the next one should be in November, by the way. Alternatively, you could download the latest version available, and check if it's the same on your vehicle or not. Or just download/install it, and see if anything changed. Ha ha. hope this helps.

Yes next update v16.5 coming October 24th.
