  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I put 300 miles on the car today.
I like it. Im going to have to get the seat adjusted to me.
One thing I think I might do is ask the dealer to re-balance the tires. Above 60mph I get a shake in the steering wheel. It does'nt feel right. I also noticed after I took delivery, the weather stripping across the top of the drivers door keeps popping off. It looks like the hard plastic piece inside the rubber is broke and keeps popping it up.

This website is great. I scanned through the entire site, all the pages. I learned so much. One important thing is how to check the trans fluid. Also got some great tech links to some great websites

They should take care of those things, without presenting you with a bill. Hopefully the wheel-balancing takes care of the feedback through the sterring wheel and it's nothing more. While uncommon, imports occassionally get their alignment and suspension damaged while in transit. When they strap the car to the truck, they overly compress the suspension. Consequently, when the truck hits a substantion bump or pot-hole, there's no suspension left in the car to absorb the impact, resulting in damage to the alignment, suspension, steering linkages, etc. Again, hopefully that's not the case in your car.
