  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So 5 months in I have my first real problem with the G (other than the loose seat leather that is still fixed).

Maybe a total of 5-6 times the cruise control has failed. By that, I mean I'm running at a set speed and it just turns off. Pretty much the same as hitting cancel, not main power. This happened coming up the 405 in a pretty crappy rough section this weekend and seems to be related to hitting pretty big bumps in the road, but today, running up the 101 on the way home it happened when the road was not bad at all.

I called the dealer and I can't say I was happy with the response. No loaner until I bring it in and they can at least check for codes and take a shot at replicating the problem. That means, sit around for 1-2 hours while they play with it. I'm not living with an intermittent problem until it completely dies, if it ever does, but I don't have a choice in at least getting it documented. It goes in next week..................:(
