  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I noticed my first rock chip today right above my grill, it seems to went all the way down to the white layer as if it chipped the whole black paint off. What's the best way I could fix it? Do those Hyundai Paint Pens really work?

I have struggled with my Hyundai paint pen. The paint from the pen is a perfect match, but even letting the new touch up paint dry for a day, or a couple of days without driving, EVERY time I put the clear coat from the pen, it takes the touch up paint off every single time. I give up and just left the little chip with fresh paint, but no clear.

DrColorchip-go to their website. I believe there's a video or something maybe on Youtube also.

I've used a blob remover. Basic principle is build up a blob of touch up paint on the rock chip, let it dry and then rub it down witht the blob remover. Worked great for me and you can't see it unless you use a maginifying glass and all you see is the faint line around where the blob was. http://www.langka.com/ sells it.
