FNG here and I have a question

We have a 2014 R-Spec and the other day the interior map light turned on. It would not turn off until we did it by hand. Has anyone experienced this before? This car has 53k on it right now.

I have the exact opposite problem - very random also. My interior lights will not turn on. When opening the door they may but after driving a bit, they wont if I push the button, other times they dont turn on no matter what. Good times!
I did replace all that were not LEDs with LED bulbs so maybe something is loose

Could be a faulty door switch in both cases.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. It is random when it does it. So I will check the contacts first.

I bought a used map light panel from ebay and replaced it. Super easy to replace since it only has two screws. This has seemed to solve problem.

I have a 2009 genesis that I love for the first time I have a problem It has started shutting down on me I've changed the two front catclytic converters both O2 sensors, both crankshsft sensors, camshsft sensor and fuel pump. It runs good for a few days then it starts like it want to quit but dosen't then the check engine light comes on and it shut down I only have 80873 miles has this happened to anyone I take very good care of my car.
