  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Fog light and Lexicon question

The Ultimate amp will safety if it detects certain anomalies with the speaker wiring, particularly when at battery voltage. I left my stock sub connected and just tapped the sub wires. I have an ignition on trigger run from the driver’s fuse box along with gain control.

Good point. Most likely the cause. I just tried turning down the input sensitivity on the Rockville to near its lowest setting. I have no idea if this has any affect on the Genesis amp. Played it at fairly loud volumes for 15 minutes or so on ACC and no shutting off.

Rockville offered to swap it for a 2 chan amp that has the high level input settings. That amp can be bridged to mono for more power. Doesn't have quite the same sub controls though. Either that or find another LOC.
