  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

ok... had a private shop install my OEM foglights in my 2015. They did a great job - almost. One of the lights was "loose". So instead of taking it back to them (they didnt have a lift) I dropped it off at Carmax cause I have the warranty there. They fixed it, said one of the "clips" were broken. Didnt cost a cent to have that done.
I have a problem though, the foglights shine over the top edge of the low beams, not below. I've never been "flashed" for the light being too high, but this is definitely not correct. The guy in Korea that I bought the lights from said there is no adjustment for the lights. I really dont see how that can be but I certainly cannot get underneath the car to see. I would think there would be some way to lower/adjust the light beam someway. My car's so low there's no way for me to slide underneath. Any thoughts on this?

I would imagine that you could "adjust" them by adding thin washers as shims to the lower mounting bolts to space the bottom of the bracket further back from the bumper thus aiming them down. Mine is a Gen 1 and I had to "aim" the drivers side that way, one of the mounting posts was to short from the factory and it made it point down and right. Not sure if the mounting on the Gen 2 is similar.

2015 foglight adjusters are small holes in grille under the lights, outboard sides. You need a long Phillips screwdriver, small shank, #2 head.

so you're talking about the long skinny black strip grill that runs the width of the car?

That worked!! Though one side was super tight and I didnt get much of a variance, but at least I was able to drop down the side that was shooting into the trees.
