folding mirror issues 2015 G80

My passenger side mirror stop working, When it goes to fold it doesn't move it just makes a nosy sound. Anyone know of a quick fix

I have the same issue with my drivers side mirror. Anyone have access to a service manual?

The gears in the mirrors are cheap plastic you’ll probably need to have the mirror replaced....can’t be repaired good news is their covered under the warranty but remember they come only primer’d and will require painting.
Ask me how I know lol.
On mine the replacement was also defective sooo waiting for replacement then waiting for it to be paint twice turned out to be almost a month and a half wait.

as long as it stops working when folded out life is good and this could be ignored.

10 year is drivetrain only, doesn’t cover body, cosmetic, or electronic issues.

I just replaced my passenger mirrow, 2019 G70 3.3 Dealer replaced under warranty. They told me the mirrow cost was 1600.00 dollars, damm thats expensive.
