  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just acquired a 2013 Genesis Sedan and the driver's mirror had the "click click click" from the plastic gear being split. Found this forum and ordered the replacement metal gear and got it installed and back on the car. Mirror will fold now but I have to help it along to get it in or out. No more clicking but it seems the motor is extremely weak. Anyone find a replacement motor for the folding mirror?

Thanks

could be that you didn't get the little circuit board fully plugged into the motor so it's not getting enough juice (too much resistance)? Don't know. Just broke down my DS mirror to do the same fix twice and can't get the motor to engage at all - so clearly I'm having connection problems...
