  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

For those who are interested. Ive been following this guy for a while now. This inspires me to go fast lol

Talk about high IATs lol. For the record this is a Corvette running a factory LS motor with over 300 passes. And it's a stick shift. I think we can all appreciate the power.

That's pretty fun to watch. That "vette" is crazy fast.

Pretty sure that’s a Texas speed built 427. Factory motor won’t hold the kind of power he throws at it. And it had a built rpm 4 speed transmission with a built 9” rear end. He just won RMRW in the stick shift u limited class. And even their c6 “ruby” is running a Texas speed built 427 with an 8887 t6 on it. 2 speed power glide. Also won the 8.50 true street limited class at RMRW. Leroy is the c5 exo vette and pushes north of 1500 hp. Ruby is low boost making about 1100 before it’s turned up.

And for iats they actually aren’t bad. I think they are lower than our cars without wmi. Leroy has an ice tank in the back of the car and pumps ice cold water through the Holley high rise intake. That’s why there is no front mount on the car. This is the air to water set up not air to air. More effective for this kind of power. If you see the inside view the center dash says turn on intercooler. That’s the water pump for the ice box

Garrett (Cleetus Mcfarland)) is local here. The car in photo (Leroy) does not have a stock motor, it has a Texas Speed 427. He has been as quick as 7.82 that I saw. Maybe quicker but I am not aware. He is a YouTube sensation. Was going to Law School in Tampa and did a fun bit for 1320video, who he worked for, and it went viral. He recently bought the Desoto Speedway here in Bradenton and has relabeled it The Freedom Factory. Poured a 42,000 square foot concrete "burn-out" pad in the infield and has hosted a couple of Gimmick races so far (Covid has made for no-spectator events). Also has a Old Police car 900HP (Neighbor) and a Z06 (Donnie) that he has taken up drifting in. Can be seen next door at Bradenton Motorsports Park (Dragstrip) regularly and is super nice guy.
One of the few that is really doing well on YouTube. No foul language, likes kids & dogs and really takes care of his friends. Check him out.

That's my bad on the stock motor, I don't think I quite ment stock, but I was under the impression it was the original vette motor with all their upgrades of course. Nonetheless it's fun to watch! Impressive stuff that they are accomplishing and he definitely seems like a worthy guy!

Haha. I’ve already found a couple of the c6 in the 13000-15000$ range with the ls3. Just gonna need rods, pistons, and a cam then she would be ready for turbos. I’ve got my shopping list started haha. And thanks to cleetus he links everything he uses so it was easy for me to put it all together 😂😂
