  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I saw this video on youtube where a Gen I 4.6 sedan had an issue with power draw killing the battery. Interesting conclusion!

Pretty funny. Somebody saw an empty fuse slot and filled it, just because.

If I was working on this problem, I wouldn't be finished until I found out how the fuse got power. The fuse block cover said it was unused. Was it? Maybe it was not used on an older car or would be used on a newer car. Fuse block covers are only for reference. They will interchange with a lot of other cars that may not be exactly the same. I know from many, many years experience that wiring systems change during the year or may not change when new models are made. I saw it many times. The problem may have gone away but not really fixed.
If it was a problem inside the fuse block, than the problem was not fixed and could come back later causing another problem.
In other words, If you don't fix the problem then you didn't fix the car. You only made it go away for now.
