I'll pay the tickets, we don't have annual inspection so I'm not worried. I got it done for 270 dollars from llumar dealer. with sunroof open it doesn't look too dark.

It actually 32%.

Fight4temp, mate all I can say, I hope you do not live in //NE Atlanta or drive on peachtree ind blvd on a regular basis, there is that one city in particular you will be guaranteed a ticket, if you get a second one, you will most likely be ordered to remove it at your expense! :(

I live in south south ga, valdosta area so no worries around here. But you sir are right lol atl popo are nasty about those 200 dollar tickets
 
I like driving with the sunroof cover open because my daughter likes to look out at everything from her car seat in the back. With the sunroof tinted over the factory tint I'm not worried about it getting too hot as my tint blocks heat.

I can also tilt the sunroof at high noon and not worry about the glare of the sun overwhelming the cabin.

Did you actually tint it yourself yet? I was always worried it would be too dark.
 
I had my sunroof tinted at the same time I got all my other windows tinted, same shade of tint. I thought it would be too dark too but it turned out just right.

I wanted to do my windshield too but decided against it.
