  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As you've probably already noticed, the forum structure has changed quite a bit now that the Genesis Coupe is out and about. If you'd like to make suggestions on how we can improve the layout, it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit (also noted below): Hey, all.. Thank you for your input. From this point forward (however) I'd like input on the "structure" of the forums themselves - not the operation of the system. There's nothing I can do to change the "new posts" feature. It simply displays all new posts. What I'm looking for input on is the forum front page (found here) and the layout of each category and topic-specific forum.

Thank you...

I would like to see the Sedan and Coupe threads more intuitively separated. Some of us have interest in both cars, but they have so little in common that most people are going to want to easily gravitate toward info on one car or the other. Otherwise, the forum is awesome! Thanks!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

Thank you. Well, I did make some changes today. Have you seen them yet? The Coupe and Sedan discussions should appear separate now... At least when you're looking at the forum front page. When simply viewing all new posts, that's not possible...

When I hit the New Posts button I'd like to get more than like 3 to 5 posts each time. I'd like to see posts from like the last 12 hours instead of 2 hours, or whatever it is. I've tried to change that for me in my options but that doesn't seem to work.

That and I'd like it if the Hyundai Dealership Experience forum would include tips on how to get a better deal and avoid the nasty tricks dealers like to play. And I think it should be a place where you can go ask specific questions about finding the right car. I'm pretty sure a lot of us are going to end up having to order the car we want and that's a situation where it's hard to avoid mark-ups and price gouging.

I tend to agree with this too. I'd like to choose where I'm looking to get the blogs I want to see and get out. I read a few coupe items for entertainment, but it's the sedan info that I glean the knowledge from and thus would like to focus on. I'm sure there are (and will be) a few coupe people that do not give a hill of beans about the sedan either, so separating the information makes sense.

My request would be a way to disable some sections per my Control Panel. When I choose "New Posts", I would like to eliminate some of the sections that I have little interest in.
