  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Found a (real) cargo net for our trunk

I joined the dark side and I don't complain at all. As a matter of fact, I like G2 better. Well....except the color, maybe :D

...But you have the nicest color :D

I have the V6 AWD, so I'll have to settle for nicest - though the LED DRL's do make it look fast. ;)

Yes, those LED DRL's looks really nice on '16, but I always preferred "stealth mode". I'm glad, there is a switch to turn them off ....automatic DRL's in 1G was my biggest complain tho ;)

Unfortunately, it seems that some G1 owners are living in denial and like to come here and tell us about all of the problems we have with the car they don't own... I guess they think that somehow the G2 being a significantly improved car reflects poorly on their older model - which, of course, it doesn't. One would hope that each new model, on a whole, is better than the vehicle it replaces! Otherwise Hyundai, would end up out of business due to competition.

This is known: some of the worst haters of a new generation are owners of the eclipsed previous generation. Just human nature. The G1 Genesis sedan was a terrific car. G2 is markedly better. If Hyundai manages to make the next generation that much better again, I will be the first to stand and applaud.

I have no rattles. I have fog lights. I have a complete set of new tires to be installed when I want or when the originals wear out. I'd judge that pretty good.

Funny, in another thread here about the SAFETY RECALL of your tires, you seem to be an active participant. Are you just wearing out the unsafe tires as an economy move?

I don't drive that much and not concerned enough to change yet. I will continue to monitor them for any potential sidewall cracking, but thanks for caring.

My 08 Eclipse had a storage net that I used almost daily. When I found out the Genesis did not have a similar one, I bought one at a local car part store, installed it in 10 minutes or so and use it almost every day.
