  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good day All,

Any Casablanca white g70 owners with below seen problem?
The middle of the lip and corners look like they weren't sprayed properly. Can see dark color under the white paint.
It also feels rough over them.

I know that the bumper is plastic, but is this normal?

JFChrist why did you post this in the evening? Now I won't be able to sleep tonight until the sun comes up for me to look.

I noticed something similar on a white 2018 G80 new on a dealer's lot last year.

To be honest I'm very disappointed with the paint on this car.
Performance wise it's a beast and interior is excellent. However the exterior paint needs to be stepped up.
It's partly my fault for not checking the car thoroughly during delivery, but I didnt think such problems would get through QC on their "luxurious" brand competing with the German boys.

Well I looked today and what I *did* notice is that the bottom lip (white) is a different shade of white that surrounds the grill.

Hmm... Mine looks pretty solid to me, not seeing any black from under the paint.

Though my cellphone flash is so blinding it's not the best picture. Oh well. Looks good enough to me.

I've noticed a lot of brown specks (of dirt?) getting stuck under my clear coat of my Casablanca white G70. However, I was able to get all of it out using a clay bar. Might be worth a shot for you as well.
