  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all,

It is getting to a time to change wheels for the winter in a month or so and I was curious as to where the front jack point is to life the entire front end. I didn't see one last week when test fitting my winter set and had to jack it up corner by corner. Anyone know for sure?

TIA

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I haven't looked specifically at our cars, but usually there is a sub-frame cross-bar in front of the oil pan on most cars.

Google search shows this to be the case in the Genesis coupe, so it is likely the same for ours. It was noted on the 3.8 coupes that its covered by a plastic shroud.

I find Google often works better....

For example:

Code:
site: http://www.genesisowners.com jackpoint

(exchange "jackpoint" for your choice of keyword)
