  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm looking at a used G70 and it is in a state that has front license plates. In Florida they are not needed so I'm wondering if the plate mount is removed from the front end will there be any evidence that there was a plate there? Hopefully holes aren't drilled...

The holes are drilled but they're indented into the bumper and not really visible unless you're looking for them. Just insert the screws back in after removing the mount and you'll be fine.

I live in PA and do not need a plate in front also. I just took it off, and you can not even tell there are holes in there. You really have to look hard to see them.

I had a car (05 GTO) that had the holes in the bumper. I picked up some black plastic trim plugs and painted them to match with touch up paint. Barely noticeable.
