Do you live in a state with front plate requirements?
Is your bumper already drilled with a big tacky plate mount?
Here's what I did to remove it and clean up the nose on my 2015 Gen2 as well as my 2017 G80!
Works with 2015-2016 Hyundai Genesis Gen 2 and 2017-20?? Genesis G80**, possibly G90 as well if the front bumper looks like the ones pictured.
**Does not apply to G70, G80 Sport, or the G80 hex grilles.

So you just got your Genesis and your front bumper looks something like this:
Head down to Auto Zone or somewhere like that and grab yourself a 4-pack of these C-99 hood retainer clips.
I tried a lot of similar options but these fit perfectly and give you a smooth, flat black finish that's not obtrusive at all. Kudos to you if you can find something similar that works - please share to increase the options! Don't settle for a black screw with a head sticking out like I did for a while with my '15 2nd gen.
<-- (They look like this)
Grab your Phillips screwdriver and take off that free dealership advertising you're not getting paid to tote around, then you'll reveal a big ugly black plastic block you can take off with that same Phillips screwdriver. You'll have to find some way to recycle this thing [pictured below].
Have your soapy water and rag at the ready to clean up the dirty area you just uncovered.
So now you have these unattractive holes in your bumper that are relatively noticeable if you're looking for them... So take one of your retainer clips and just push it into the hole. It takes a very slight force to insert but not too much, and they will stay in well. They are almost a perfect fit.
Here's an image after I filled one, but left the last one empty for comparison. I still need to clean the black plastic of the bumper a bit better but at the same time, the clean black circles of the clips should fade after a while to match.
When all 4 are popped in, the front bumper will look much cleaner and you can put your license plate in your garage as a backup, or put it in your windshield if you're feeling paranoid. There are suction cup windshield plate hangers available on Amazon.
Just need to get the fishbowl tinted and she'll be looking right Classy!!
Not Recommended: Front Tow-Hook License plate mounts like Platypus, etc. Very likely that you'll interrupt front collision sensors and cause annoying beeping every time you come out of park, as well as issues with AEB system over prolonged trips warning you that something's wrong because it constantly thinks you're about to run into something. I tried this on my 2015 and it stuck out quite far from the bumper and still tripped the sensors.
In the end and as always - do as you prefer, because it's your car and it should make you happy, not everyone else!!
In my opinion, save the tow hooks for the tuners and stay classy out there! This is an executive luxury sedan after all.
Here's what my 2015 looked like when I had the tow hook mount, just so you don't have to go get it to see... It throws off the symmetry of the car's front-end and when the plate is on it, it's even larger and just doesn't look quite right. Depending on the overall vibe you're going for, you may or may not like it. Totally up to you.
