Front sensor malfunction

This issue is causing a startup problem. It is intermitting, the Hyundai dealer said this is what's causing the problem. Someone said a reman sensor if available will hopefully resolve this issue.

You will have to be a lot more specific about which sensor. When you say the "front" sensor, it tends to imply either one of the front sonar parking sensors, or the front radar sensor. However, none of those would affect engine starting. Do you really mean one of the sensors on the front on the engine, like a cam sensor or such?

What is the actual problem you are having? Is it a startup (engine not starting) problem as you said? If so, the radar sensor has nothing to do with that.

Well, that's nice to know. After driving for a bit on a couple of times, the car sat for an hour or so, pushed the start button it just cranks but not turn over.

Yeah, not related to the radar sensor.
Please note that a lot of people use unclear terms when describing what you are describing. To many of us, "turn over" means that the starter engages and turns the crankshaft. I think you are using it to mean that the engine does not catch and run, but the crankshaft does turn with the starter.

The clearest terminology to use would be this.

No crank, no start - the starter does not engage and so the engine does not run. This could be a dead battery.

Crank, no start - the starter engages, but the engine does not run. This would not be a dead battery.

I think that you are trying to describe "Crank, no start." Is this correct?

You've given nothing to go on for the hundreds of possibilities that it could be. It needs to be diagnosed by someone that is both honest and competent. It seems that whoever told you it was the radar sensor to blame was short on at least one of those two qualities.

How often does it fail to start? What do you do to get it to start after it fails? Is the check engine light on? Have you connected a good scan tool, and it so what did it have to say?

It happened days apart, waited a few minutes between tries, after a few times trying, it finally started. The shop that ran the diagnostics was a certified Hyundia dealer. Also, during the time during the no start, did not have a check engine light.

So during the times that it wouldn't start, did the engine turn over? More info will help, numerous smart people on this Forum that know the product.

Yes it turned over but, did not start. after about 15 to 30 minutes, if finally started. Still no check engine light and the car seemed to run fine.

Sounds similar to a problem I had - intermittent, no lights, no codes. I thought it was the fuel system when hot because it would crank but not fire. Typically after waiting 15 - 30 minutes it would start. I don't think it ever happened on a cold start. Last straw was the engine stalled while driving. It turned out to be a bad crankshaft position sensor. I would have thought that would be in the fault tree for diagnostics, but apparently not at my dealer. Good luck.
