  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 21 G70 Sport and tried to get front splash guards from Genesis. They don’t have them. This car needs them because of the very wide tires. I’ve had the car just about a month now. I added the rear s/g, very small. I went to Advanced Auto and bought two different sets to try. One a big truck type that I throught I could cut down to make work. The other set are Pro-Fit Splash Guards by RoadSport. I think the Pro-Fit will work out. I hope I can post pictures. I cut away the boomerang looking piece from the s/g leaving a 1 1/2 of the s/g. I think if I didn’t do that debris would build up behind it. There is only one screw. I put in three more but just into the soft backing in the wheel well. I don’t know how will they will hold up. I’m going for longer screws tomorrow. The blue tape is so I know that I have the s/g pushed up fully.

The boomerang piece in the first picture is the piece I cut out of the first s/g and it is next to the uncut second s/g.

Search for the topic; there was a guy who successfully used the front splash guards from the Genesis coupe on his G70.
