  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Guys,

I am giving you first crack at this car before it goes to Craigslist and then to Carmax.

I purchased this car in September 2015 with 22K miles on it for $28.5K. The car is in amazing shape, no dings, scratches, or any kind of damage.

VIN: KMHGC4DH4DU257136

20" wheels with high performance tires (continental extremecontact dw); less than 15K miles on them
Uniq Performance Colars.
Magnaflow Mufflers (I still have the originals)
K&N filter

Currently has 35K miles on the car, I mainly drive it to work which is a 30 mile one way drive down the highway. Garage kept and hand washed always.
Oil changed every 5K miles.

Price is $25,000 OBO

NADA value has this car at $26K

I am selling this car because it is not sporty enough, and is too heavy for my needs. I have decided to go with a BMW 335i sedan instead.

My loss on depreciation is your gain. I still get looks and comments almost everywhere I go with this thing. Most people don't even know what make it is.

I have the CarFax report and can send it out upon request.

Thank you, Sir. I'll make sure to update everyone with the new car once the Genesis sells

I had a 2008 335i n54 coupe...once the mod bugs hit there is no stopping it. I put in over $25k just in upgrade on that car...but it was one fast car.

Guys are putting in upgrade hybrid stg2 turbos on for $3500 and putting down over 600whp on stock everything motor. Just crazy numbers not doing much to it.

I was on the forums and upgrading parts for over 3 years lol...it just doesn't stop. Either way you will love that car if you want a good car to build on and go fast but you will also spend a ton if you like modding.

But depending on your needs and where you are in life you might want to keep the rspec. I got married and had a kid so I got this car.

Thank you for the heads up cleex. I know about the mod bug all too well, I had an Evo iX for 8 years. Got married, a house, and a kid so I sold the Evo and my daily to get the rspec since I didn't have time to really drive the Evo anymore.

The rspec is a fantastic car, but it's just not nimble enough for me. I realized that I need another "Evo", a more grown up one to keep appearances at work, and one with the zf8 auto tranny that shifts nearly as fast as a dct (up and down) to deal with LA traffic. The 335 sedan is big enough for a car seat and ticks all the boxes. Plus, my wife drives a Jeep Grand Cherokee as the family car.
