Hey guys, right now I'm in the market for a new car, and the Genesis Coupe seems like it's the perfect option for me. I was fairly set on finding an 04/05 S2000, but after thinking it through, maintenance, insurance and a lack of warranty have pushed me away from buying one. I test drove a 2.0t the other day and really enjoyed it. The interior is great, especially coming from a Scion tC, the ride was nice, the car just really lacked balls. I'm so used to my tC (turbo, 300whp), so naturally the Genesis was going to feel slow, and after looking around, it seems like the Genesis is very mod friendly. I'm pretty set on getting a Tsubaka Red 2.0t Track, then getting a Greddy Spectrum Elite, Poweraxle reflash module, and CP-e intake. I should be in the market to buy one in January/February.
Here is my tC, it doesn't look like this anymore, as I've been putting it back to stock over the past 3 weeks. Needed to sell everything off it to get some money aside for a down payment.
I plan on doing AutoX with the Genesis on a regular basis next season. I've yet to see one show up to a race, so I'm expecting it to get a lot of attention.
