  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mine is only slight... but I did see a used Genesis for sale at the dealer that looked "furry".

This was a while back - it made me mad that they are out there trying to sell this car as a certified used Genesis...and it looked like the seat was a fur seat on the seating area and the lumbar section. Just cheapens the brand - this should have been fixed before the certified it.

Has anyone notice the seam on the side of the driver seat ripping apart? The side seam is on the very front, right beside your right leg. The seam in mine has completely ripped out. Next time I am at the dealer I plan to bring it up. I would have never noticed until I Lexoled my seats a couple months ago.

For some reason, that photo makes it look gross.
I'll check if mine is the same.

Sorry for the grossness. :) I'd just like to know if anyone else has had the problem and has had it diagnosed and/or repaired.

My driver's seat has the same problem. Other members of this forum also reported the same issue. I believe the "fur" is coming from the felt liner just behind the leather covering. It is the result of constant rubbing of your lower back. Try rubbing it with the palm of your hand and most of them will go back inside.
