  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey foe those of us who has the g70 2.0t I just installed the hks spark plugs and jb4 and let me tell you it's like a completely different car I'm driving. Only using map 1 and 2 and I really feel like I have a different car. Other mods is coming not to crazy but yes the jb4 does wonders

yes, the difference from Map 0 to Map 1 is remarkable. puts the G70 2.0T where it should have been from the factory at ~290hp give or take and 300+ tq. Map 2 is just that bit more (+1 psi over Map 1) and the extra 1psi is noticeable.

i would have loved to see the G70 RWD/6MT paired with the 2.5T to maintain the lighter front end over the 3.3T with 310hp which is the range i feel the platform deserves as a starting point. the stock 255hp from the 2.0T leaves room for 'growth' to fully exploit the chassis. still plenty of fun in the lighter and more nimble configuration, but more would have been better...as they always say.

don't get me wrong, i certainly wouldn't have said no to a 3.3T RWD/6MT combo. i would have said yes to that in a heartbeat. that woulda been the G70 holy grail for this guy, until the gearbox grenaded itself because HKM didn't have a stout enough manual box!

I initially bought a 3.3T Sport Prestige, but returned it due to an engine defect. I also had an engine defect on an Azera with the same 3.3T (but non-turbo), so I was done with them. Plus didn't want to wait months for another, so bought a '23 2.0T Sport Prestige. Was disappointed it was less equipped than in the past (HUD, Napa, 360, etc), but welcomed the extra range with better fuel economy. Anyway, the 2.0T feels more torquey than the 3.3T, to the point I didn't notice the difference unless approaching WOT (which I rarely do anyway). But what I was really surprised about is how nimbler and lighter it felt, which was a nice surprise. Even though I owned very powerful cars in the past, I don't really need any more now that I'm a bit more mature at 61 (ha ha), so won't touch it. My quickest vehicle was the GTR, but the Porsche and Audi weren't that far behind. And same with motorcycles, with the Hayabusa and sport BMWs the quickest. Nowadays I just want efficiency and simplicity, so just I-4 turbo vehicles now, and a 'mature' BMW R1250R, all with more than enough power.
