G70 3.3 brakes grabby when cold at low speed?

Trying to figure it out. When my car is cold and I come to a stop sign it feels like the brakes grab at about 7 to 10 mph, kind of jerk. At first it kind of felt like a transmission downshift, jerky but seems more like a brake issue. Car has only 12000 miles on it and the rotors look perfect. anybody experienced this? By the way, I called the dealer for an appointment and they said I would need to leave my car there for a week. I then said I would like to an appointment next week and they said I would still need to leave it there for a week. Gee what is an appointment? Crazy times we live in.

2019 G70 here, definitely cold downshifts into 1st gear (presumably) for me. I think there are a few other threads on it. try manually upshifting into a higher gear before decel to stop, should highlight that it is (or isn't) the transmission downshifts.

Wow, seems as if it is a wide spread problem. It also doesn't seem as anybody has figured this problem out yet. Major bummer

They're not the brakes at all, since the brakes are not grabby when cold to begin with. It's the stupid ECU applying the freaking brakes for you. It was present on both the '22 3.3T SP I returned (due to an engine issue), and the '23 2.0T SP I own now. However, at least in my case, it happens all the time; not just when cold, although it's a bit more 'grabby' when cold indeed. I have learned to live AND adapt to it, by releasing brake pressure a little when the stupid computer applies the brakes, so I can stop smoothly. It's a challenge to stop smoothly every single time, but at least I have something to focus on. Ha ha. Basically it's an overactive 'brake assist' feature, that is supposed to fully apply the brakes in a panic situation, but this damn car does it even when driving like a grandpa. Not the end of the world, but annoying nonetheless. And there's nothing we can do about it, unfortunately.
