  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Will the intercooler from the Stinger fit the g70 or they are slightly different? I've been looking all over for someone that knows for sure and I can't find an answer

I know the aftermarket ones like Agency Power fit both but I'd like to know about the factory one as I need to replace it

I haven't had the time to install mine yet. I always plan on having to modify aftermarket products. A lot of them don't have perfect fitment. It's unfortunate but true.

Any chance you can make a slot where the bottom bolt is? It wouldn't take much of a slot to get the top to line up. You'd just need a good washer to go with that bolt.

Had too much of trouble getting it to fit and exactly the same problem shown in your picture. had to force the washers in place while adjusting it by pulling and overall close to two hours of back and forth but it did fit eventually. My other problem was with one of the pipes on the driver side it just didnt wanna fit, like it was too small but again forced it and eventually it coupled over and i used the clamp where it was supposed to go. i did need to go and buy 2 extra clamps because the ones from the factory could not be used again

I managed to get things to line up but as stated it was a struggle. Took way more time than it should have. Now that it is installed it is working great, IAT's are just above ambient temps after a full 3rd and 4th gear run

So today, after waiting an excruciating long time , I got my temp plates and managed to drive the car for the first time. It blew the driver side intercooler pipe Right away on the first try of pushing the pedal a bit more to get the turbos going so I had to drive it like that for a good 15 minutes until I got where I was going. Once there I went to the advanced Auto parts and got a different clamp since the one I used apparently wasn't good and thankfully on my way home it was just fine. I've never experienced such behavior from a car and every chance I had to speed up it put a smile on my face. Coming from a 2015 3.8l it's a night and day difference.
Intercooler works amazingly even with the initial fitment problems. Recommended without doubt

I completed the BMS intercooler install on Sunday. I emailed Burger Motorsports yesterday and gave them feedback/pictures regarding some of the fitment issues. Terry told me that they just got their G70 in and we're going to work on updating the brackets. Here's my email to them.

"The Z-brackets (page 17 of instructions) did not line up well at all on my 2022 G70. If you are facing the car, the left Z-bracket did get over the bolt for the radar but was too tall for me to make it work.

The radar bracket has a bolt on either side that attach it to the beam. There's also a bolt toward the center/bottom of the radar bracket. I took one of the Z-brackets and straightened one of the 90's. I drilled a hole big enough for a 1/4-20 bolt in the other Z-bracket. The straightened bracket bolts to the center/bottom of the radar bracket. The other Z-bracket bolts to the right hand mount on the intercooler. I'm sure it's possible to use both of the mounts on the intercooler in this way but that would require more metal from what I can tell. My setup will only work on the right side mount. I had to use a 1/4-20 bolt to fasten the brackets together because I didn't have a nut that would work for the provided bolts. I've attached a few pictures for reference.

Also, I had to do some bending of the brackets on both sides of the intercooler in order to get it to line up correctly. Not a big deal for me considering its aluminum. Bigger deal for some so I thought I'd mention it. (Page 11)"

I just installed mine and all these issues are still there. i also have a problem with the driver-side oem hose popping off the BMS adapter under moderate boost.
