G70 Car Cover

Looking to get a car cover since the garage will not be available to me for about a year. Anyone have any advice and brands to look to? Personal experiences are always a plus. Thanks.

Just be sure whatever you get does not flap or move from the wind, else you will get some clear coat minor scratching. You want something that will breath if rain gets on the cover as well. A good custom fit cover that stays somewhat tight and breaths will be good. Keep in mind if your car is not clean before you cover up you will grind dust and dirt into your paint. If your intention is to use a cover daily instead of a garage, expect some wear and tear on your paint and the need for some polishing now and again. If your going to cover up and leave as such and only drive a few times a month, your paint will be better off. Otherwise just know your going to need to do a little work sometimes. Any cover that claims it will not scratch, don’t believe such. Anything sitting against the paint has potential to show superficial scratches at some point.
