  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Got an email from my local dealer in NH who now has 5 G70's on the lot. Going down later today to check them out.

Looks like the 2 other Hyundai dealers that use to sell the Genesis in NH have nothing as far as any Genesis vehicles goes never mind the G70.

I just got back from there. They do not have any 3.3T Sports or Dynamics, which is what I am interested in, but I did drive another 3.3T (I didn't notice which trim it was, just wanted to drive a 3.3T). I believe they also have a couple of 2.0T Sports and a 3.3T Design.

Is it the Nashua dealer or another?

Just got back from there, I saw all 5 they had including the limited edition. But you're right no 3.3TT Sports. My first impression I like the car it's not at the level of my G80 Sport but still pretty impressive. A couple of things I didn't like the back seat foot room is strange as many know you can't slide your feet under the seat in front of you which makes it feel tighter than it is. I also thought the Chrome plastic grill looked a little cheap and flimsy, looked slightly better on the sport. Also unlike the G80 when looking at the front grill you know it's a Sport model it's hard to tell on the G70's. Also wasn't crazy about the Sport wheels.

Also a little strange is from the inside the sunroof looks small but when you look outside on top of the roof the whole roof is almost all glass. I didn't have a chance to open it to see how big it really is.

The dealer also told me there is very little mark up on the G70's vs the G80 and 90's so I guess we can't expect too much of a discount.

Still the 70 could be in my future I love the G80 but not the size I don't need a car that big.

Driving impressions?

Never went on a test drive.

My dealer said they had 5 out 121 cars in the US so that number makes sense.

I also saw my first G70 commercial on TV this weekend.

No one website is showing all of the dealers. In order to get as complete as possible inventory you need to use cars.com, CarGurus.com and autuotrader.com.

I would agree but it’s interesting that my dealer had the same number and I heard it separately from 2 people.

If you are referring to my post then it would seem like they got the incorrect numbers fro the same source. Also you have to keep in mind that the inventory on cars.com is off because the cars for Atlanta are being shown twice, once under Jim Ellis and again under Genesis of Atlanta, they are they same place.

When looking at each source you will see that some dealers show on all three while other only show on one of two. Examples would be the Alabama dealers and some in Virginia.

So wouldn't a dealer have computer access to all inventory in the US that they can look up? I understand that sites that we can see like cars.com is limited and not complete.

As of last week they didn't, I guess their system could have changed. I would hope they would also. Either way we know their numbers are wrong since they were matching what cars. com was saying and that number is wrong. Maybe just coincidence.
