  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just came out of a 2019 4 series to the 2022 G70. My BMW when placed in reverse rolled backward and I had to press break to stop or gas to make it accelerate. My G70 doesn’t roll at all when put in reverse but moves backward when I press the gas. Is there a expert that can explain?

Do you have the Auto Hold on?

in the 2022 the Auto-Hold will be set to what you last had it on when you left the car. Prior to 2021-2022 you had to enable auto-hold each time.

It's part of my routine. Soon as I start the car I turn on auto hold. Wish I was auto on.
