  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone heard of any software updates for the G70?

I don't mean performance updates for the engine management but more like updates for the for the driver facing technology.

On my previous car, a 2015 BMW it was possible to download updates from the BMW web site, copy the file on to a USB thumb drive and update several components such as the multimedia system. There was a Update Software option on the menus.

This is my first Korean car so I'm not sure what's normal for software updates and if this is even something they allow owners to do themselves. My thinking is that everything is a computer now so software updates should be a common ongoing process.

Would be nice. The infotainment is not very high specced. BT version 3.0 and AVRCP 1.4 only!
No accessible internal hard drive would make it hard to do a full update of AVN.
I would like more options or customizations for the 7" LCD panel in the instrument cluster!
The 2.0T does not have the Boost and Torque meter and the Drive Mode screen is useless except for Smart Mode where the bar moves around!
