G70 Sport window trim issues..

Hello all, 5 time Genesis owner here and my latest car is a 2019 g70 sport. I have seen comments before on the smoked chrome window trim discoloration, has anyone found a product that works? I have owned 5 new Genesis's and frustrated to say Genesis direct USA was no help at all.

I had ceramic coat put on mine and it has not been an issue. Now, I had this issue with less than a couple thousand miles on the car. Dealer replaced it with new trim and I had the trim ceramic coated. I'm at 8900 and change now on miles.

Spent a couple of days searching but didn't find anything definitive (someone suggested toothpaste?) but I'm curious if anyone has had any luck fixing this issue themselves. The silver trim around the doors looks stained, like it was wiped with some chemical and now it won't come off. It isn't...

For anyone still looking for a remedy, this is legit. I just finished doing 1 door with Brasso and it's night and day compared to the other 3 doors.

I just dropped my 2021 G70 off at the dealer this morning to have all my trim pieces replaced under warranty. Since my car was a loaner vehicle, it was stained when I bought it. I've lived with it for a year but decided to take it in. I'm curious about what to apply to keep the trim in new condition. I saw chemical guys Jet Seal mentioned in the thread above.

I hear some people have done ceramic coat and others have done the chrome delete option. I'm working on getting a quote for PPF for the front of my new 23 G70 3.3T as well as the chrome trim.
