  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi. I am a new owner of a 2019 G80 3.3T sport with about 15,000 Km. I have a 2021 Hyundai Elantra N Line as well. I live in western Canada splitting my Spring-summer-fall between Calgary and BC. Winters are spent in the SoCal desert where the Elantra resides. Glad to be on the forum as it has already helped me with CarPlay and Nav updates.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Congratulations on your new Genesis G80! :) Did the G80 replace anything for you or is it just an additional vehicle?

Yes, it replaced a 2013 GMC 3500HD 6.6L diesel which I miss but really no longer have a lot of use for since retirement. I took my Elantra in for service in Palm Springs and they gave me a G70 loaner. I was impressed on many levels. I always thought that was a great marketing tool as after that day I thought of Genesis a lot. Now here I am an owner of a nice G80 3.3T ice blue sedan. First upgrade was replacing the tires to Continental ExtremeContact Dws06+.

Thanks for the welcome.

Big change between either the GMC 3500HD or Elantra. Congrats!
