Power trunk or manual trunk?
I just resolved a problem with my (power trunk) ajar indicator coming on every time I hit a bump. I did the re-calibrate procedure and it seems to be completely resolved.

How do I do that? I open the trunk and close it and the dashboard open light goes out then comes back on before I move

It only works if you have the power trunk.
Open the trunk all the way. Press and hold the close button on the inside part of the trunk. Quickly press and hold the outside button on the trunk lid. Hold both until after the long tone sounds.
Close the trunk lid manually. Then press the outside trunk button. After it opens all the way, press the close button and it should be set after it closes.
