G80 sport package heated steering?

Hi,

Wasn't quite sure where this question rightfully belonged but here goes. On my 2017 G80 the only way to get a heated steering wheel was with AWD.

I'm considering a 2020 and still want a heated steering wheel. The genesis website doesn't specify.

When I did a google search for heated steering, one dealership indicated it came with EITHER AWD or a Sport package.

I'm wondering if this is accurate. I don't really need AWD but I do want a sunroof which requires the sport package. Wondering if I can get both in the sport package. Anyone certain?

Thanks. Congrats! Hope you enjoy it. However, I'm not looking to buy a Sport. I was curious about the new G80 sport package. Not to worry though I finally found a salesman who gave me the details. It wad a bit like pulling teeth lol. It was a few weeks ago now. I think it's the AWD but with the Ultimate package. I appreciate your willingness to help however. Enjoy the ride!

My RWD has all that. (But I have no use for the heated steering wheel here in Florida. And I've never opened the roof...)

But mine is the 3.3t Sport sedan; perhaps you're referring to the regular sedan with a Sport package.

For the 2018 G80 the heated steering wheel was only available as part of the AWD/HTRAC package for all models (3.3-Sport, 3.8, 5.0).

In 2019 they added a "Sport trim" option for the 3.8. This was the cosmetics options (bronze/copper accents, etc) of the 3.3Sport without the mechanics (e.g. no 3.3Turbo engine).

For 2020 G80 the heated steering wheel continues to be part of the AWD/HTRAC package for all models, but is also available with in the Ultimate package (which includes all the Sport package options) for the 3.8 RWD. Are you thoroughly confused yet.
