  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So while trying to refuel, I pressed "gas cap open" button and nothing happened. Hmm...

Emergency trunk release still works.

Going to take to dealer and see what happens.

You're not alone. several of us have had hte same problem. It is a warranty fix.

Before you take it to the dealer, try to lube the pin. this is the pin that retracts and allows the door to open, when you push the button. This happened on my Continental, and it was caused by the pin sticking.

Finally got it fixed. Dealer replaced entire switch. They mentioned that it was a known issue with early models.

This place is so small, they never have seen 'wings' on the back.

glad you got it fixed, love it when people get stuff fixed first before crying wolf.
