  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2011 3.8 and the 2013 3.8 makes a considerable amount more power. Is it possible to add 2013 gdi parts to my non gdi for more power

Anything is possible if you replace enough parts. But it is not feasible. You can probably get close to $10K of MSRP of a new 2013 or 2014 Genesis right now.

Here's a little surprise for you. The 6 speed transmission in your car is a bit faster getting your car down the road than the 8 speed in the 2013. This pretty much offsets the extra power of the '13's engine versus your car. Why not relax and enjoy your car just as it is? It just about as fast as the '13 you are dreaming about.

Are you talking brand new, never titled, NOT a demo/factory car?? If so, I'd love for you to provide some proof of $10K off a 2014.

The only proof I could provide would be if bought one, and I am not in the market right now for one of those. I posted that info based on claims made by others.

That is pretty good for a Genesis Coupe. Bigger savings having been claimed for a Sedan that lists at about $47K.
