Gear shift won't shift to Drive, can't find much info about this online?

Title is pretty self-explanatory but I just started having problems with shifting gears while in Park in my 2015 Genesis 3.8L. It can shift to Reverse and Neutral and back to Park just fine, but not to Drive. I couldn't find much relevant info about this problem online, so is this a rare issue or am I just blind and missing something totally obvious to fix it? I'm kind of freaking out about the cost to fix a potential transmission problem....

Sounds like a shift interlock issue. Make sure the steering wheel is centered and make sure the shift lever is all the way in park (might have to get rough). With all the crazy safety sensors, you may also want someone to check the codes by accessing the OBD-II port.
